Vintage Art Deco Cartier Diamond Clip Brooch

A beautiful Art Deco diamond set platinum buckle dress clip by Cartier, circa. 1930. An Art Deco diamond platinum buckle dress clip by Cartier circa 1930. The overall cushion shape of the undulating buckle grain set with eighty two old round brilliant cut diamonds and pierced with a prong set with a further thirty three grain set old round brilliant cut diamonds. The prong terminated by a rectangular step cut diamond above two collet set baguette cut diamonds. The top and bottomof the buckle frame channel set with twenty baguette cut diamonds. The hinged platinum two pronged clip fitting with four corresponding backward facing prongs to the frame. Total estimated diamond weight: 5.70 carats  The rectangular step cut diamond weighing approximately 0.80 carats Estimated at D-F in colour and VVS clarity
